3D2N Mount Kinabalu Climbing via Timpohon Gate : KK - Kinabalu Nature Park - Laban Rata - Summit - KK

Tour details:

Day 1 : KOTA KINABALU / KINABALU NATIONAL PARK

Pick up from Kota Kinabalu Airport or city hotel, transfer by land to Kinabalu National Park.  The journey will take approximately 2 hours and drive through the scenic countryside and witness the breathtaking view of Mountain Range.  Stop at Nabalu, a typical roadside market along the way which local handicrafts and fruit can be found at here.  Enjoy the cool climate of the "Montane Forest" with its numerous endemic and medicinal plant species at Kinabalu park.  After registration at Sabah Park, check in your accommodation and get an overnight experience of our mountain climate.  (Dinner)

Day 2 : LABAN RATA

After breakfast, 8am meet your mountain guide at Sabah Park office, take a shuttle transfer to the Timpohon gate (starting point) of your mountain scaling trip.  It takes about 5 hours to the mountain huts - Laban Rata (3,272m), where you stay for overnight.  Early rest to get ready for the big climb tomorrow.  (Breakfast / Packed Lunch / Dinner)

Day 3 : SUMMIT / KOTA KINABALU

The final ascent to the summit begins very early and takes about 2-3 hours as our aim is to be on the top for sunrise. After savoring what is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, return to Laban Rata (in much faster time!) with the opportunity for a well-earned breakfast before continuing on down to park headquarters.  After lunch, return to Kota Kinabalu and transfer back to your hotel.  (Supper/Breakfast / Lunch)
