The only deep sea fishing in Sabah - every Monday ex Sutera Harbour Marina!

0600hrs :  meet  the crews of the "Reef Cat," a stable 40ft catamaran, at the Sutera Harbour Marina (if you stay at Langkah Syabas transfer is provided) for a roughly two-hour journey to Mengalum Island in the South China Sea.  On the way light breakfast is served, and refreshments as well as a fully stocked bar are available.

Anchor will be dropped off Mengalum Island for bottom/reef fishing, and there is plenty of action.   The fishes most usually caught are groupers and sea-basses, red snappers and the occasional pomfret. Sabah has some of the world's richest marine life and it won't disappoint you.  Enjoy this relaxing day!

Lunch will be served around midday, and you can have your catch of the day freshly prepared for you by an experienced chef.   In the late afternoon return to Kota Kinabalu, where you arrive around 1800hrs.
